Hi, I’m Ian, a local photographer on the boarder of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire in South Normanton, Alfreton.

The focus to tell your story
All you need to focus on is each other, your guests and of cause experiencing the wonderful moments throughout your wedding day! I'll be there cameras in hand taking photos without disrupting or staging moments.
Your family and friends will share joyous moments, laughter and maybe some tears throughout the day as they enjoy your special wedding celebrations…and those candid wedding pics? They’ll barely know those wedding photos have been taken at all.

Getting your family all together and looking in the right direction for those group formal portraits is certainly no easy task, I can tell you. But worry not, I am here to help make things run smoothly and hassle free. This is why a more natural approach to your wedding photographs often gives the best candid moments to cherish.
That being said, we all know there are short moments where I may need to make myself known to organise those group sessions as fast as possible so you can all go back to the party.
The amazing portraits
I don’t like to take you both away from your guests for long periods, I perfect a 10 to 20 min session for those portrait moments. This is often after the ceremony, then again at a variety of times during the day such as sunsets and night portrait opportunities.
