Since I was a young lad, I've loved capturing moments - both on film and photos. Jump forward 15 years and I started modelling for local photographers with the wife. I enjoyed that and started to learn posing and lighting techniques.
5 Years later I decided to get myself a professional camera and learn photography properly instead of just holiday snaps. within 12 months I started getting asked to do family photo sessions.
From there on my photography surged into a fully fledged business where i honed my skills on high end portraits fur a further 5 years before i got my first wedding with one of my portrait clients, Weddings is now the main part of my business.
I started off shooting with a Nikon D3100 whilst I was learning my craft, I moved to a Nikon D600 when I started building my business for a more professional quality and better flexibility. After several years I changed to two Nikon D750's with a range of lenses such as macro for those fine detail ring, flowers and pet shoots to a Sigma 70-200mm 2.8f Zoom lens for great portraits.
I upgraded to the new mirrorless Nikon Z6 range of cameras keeping up with the high quality technology to keep offering the very best of images and film possible to my customers. Its not all about the gear though as customer service is massively important to me and having worked in many industries dealing with customer service and sale, I feel that the service has to be as good as the imagery I put out there. The work should do the selling for me, I don't believe in pressure selling.
My journey from Taking up photography then until now has been a fantastic and rewarding journey. Each unique event is a colourful spectrum of personalities coming together combining two families into one.
I love wedding photography, and I'm passionate about providing the best creative photos with a natural feel to them. After all, not all clients are models and most are not keen at being centre of attention or being photographed, it is my job to keep clients at ease and enjoy the experience.
